By now, we all know that COVID-19 can survive on hard surfaces for quite a while. And given that there are quite a few surfaces that you will come into contact with during your time here, we’ve instructed our janitorial staff to frequently clean and disinfect all high touch surfaces including tables, lobbies, door handles, restrooms, van shuttle seats, phones, and more throughout the day


While we’re cleaning all high-touch surfaces, there are other items that can get passed around and are hard to keep clean. So we’ve placed hand sanitizing stations around the showroom and office areas for you to make use of after handling items like keys, pens, clipboards, etc.


This should come as no surprise, but you should stay home if you are sick, especially during COVID-19. We’ve mandated our staff to remain at home if they are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms and ask that our customers as well stay home if you are feeling ill.

The steps we are taking moving forward have been inspired by the advice being provided to the public from trusted organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

Now more than ever, we want to give you the best experience possible when shopping at Rocky Mount Toyota. This is why these guidelines and precautions will remain in place until further notice.

We’ve done everything we can to make shopping at Rocky Mount Toyota in person as safe and reliable as possible. However, it is totally understandable if you are not quite comfortable to come back into the dealership yet. So, our teams decided that your online/at-home shopping experience should be as close to normal as it can be.

We created a couple of awesome programs that, if you want to relax at home and find that perfect Toyota, you can do just that! The one that we know many of you are going to be hype about is our new car delivery service. This makes it so you can enjoy the entire car buying experience from home, from scrolling through our inventory of new Toyotas and used cars, to applying for flexible financing, and finally getting that Toyota! Once the whole process is done, one of our team members will hand deliver your brand new car to your door! There’s no reason to expose yourself by coming into the dealership at all!

Next up we have the auto service pick-up program. This one actually requires you to already have a Toyota model and be within 20 miles of our Wesleyan Blvd location, which includes Wilson, Tarboro, and the surrounding areas! All you have to do is schedule whatever service you need done, only instead of scheduling a time to come in, just let us know where and when you would like the schedule the pick up. One of our team members will be in touch to confirm the details, and then we’ll be over to pick up your car! If you need a loaner, we can set you up with one, and once everything is finished, we’ll return your car to you washed and disinfected.

When you’re buying a brand new car, or even a used car, it’s important that you’re 100% satisfied with your choice. Buying a new car is a lot of money and you definitely don’t want buyers' remorse. One thing that certainly helps with your decision making is test driving the car. Unfortunately, this is something you can miss out on when shopping from home. Well, not anymore.

Rocky Mount Toyota has figured out a way to bring the test drive home to you! Now, when you’re browsing through our available new Toyota models or used cars, you can schedule an at-home test drive. Just let us know when and where you would like to do the test drive, one of our team members will be in touch to confirm, and then they’ll be over with your desired Toyota! You can drive it around your neighborhood or city, on your commute to work, or wherever you want!

Take Your At Home Test Drive at the place and time you designated! It’s THAT easy.

Now that your test drive is done, you have to decide what to do with that car. If you like the car, you can hold onto it while we finish up the buying process on our end. Anything that needs to be signed by you, we’ll send to you. If you didn’t like the car, that’s not an issue. We can take it back no problem. There’s no obligation on you to keep the car you choose for your at-home test drive, so if you don’t like it and there’s another car that has your eye, we’ll take the original car back and you can schedule another at-home test drive for your other car!
